I established the habit to journal at least for five minutes a day, it is more on weekends, but only five minutes on weekdays.
I do a "Braindump" every day with a recap of the previous day.
On Saturdays, I do a "Review" of the last week and highlight important topics. On Sundays, I update my "Tedious Task List", a prompt I learned from you, Cosima. On Mondays, I do "Goals, To-Do's and Progress Tracking" to get a high level overview on all that lies before me.
Still not quite a habit, since every day's schedule is different, making it hard to find that regular place for it. I've been finding it to be really valuable, though, so I continue to try and do it, even if it's not the first thing I do. I don't have a formal process yet, mostly just about how I'm feeling, a bit of reflection and a bit of looking forward. Then a little "brain dump" of anything else that's popping up for me.
Nice to hear your find it really valuable and you continue to doing it.
Thanks for making me reflect myself on why I consider a habit.
Just noticed that for me it does not matter so much that something has its regular place in each day. It matters more that I make the time for it, no matter where/when.
Of course, having a regular place *can* help with *building* a habit.

Thanks a lot for sharing how your journaling habit looks like currently.
That's great to hear you included the 'Tedious Task List' as a regular prompt. I like that idea! Might be food for another article soon. :-)
